EMMA BYRNE

Emma Byrne grew up wanting to be Dr. Susan Calvin, the repressed robopsychologist from Asimov's Robot stories. She was recently awarded a Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, and is working on the
repression part. Her film credits to date include the feature film The Viva Voce Virus, and a Betamax tape her great aunt still owns of her "Mary" in He's Only a Baby: the Nativity Musical at the tender age of six.

She lives an intriguing double life in London's swinging Elephant and Castle district. Glamorous academic by day, and workaday, button-down Jazz Singer by night. Since the Viva Voce Virus she has decided to foreswear film and return to her roots on the stage. This is not from any great love of the theatre, it's just that the camera added ten pounds, and she hasn't been able to lose them since.
